Bowling for Autism
Plinko, Duck Pond games, and a 50/50 raffle with a $100 prize!
In March, the Autism Network ME celebrated togetherness through a social event called Bowling for Autism hosted by the Family Fun Bowling Center in Skowhegan, Maine.
Forty-five people, ages four to adulthood at different levels on the spectrum, were in attendance. In addition to those diagnosed, caregivers and advocates were also present to lend their support.
The event included bowling, Plinko and Duck Pond Games and a 50/50 raffle with a $100 prize. Two gift totes were also raffled off. Everyone in attendance received a take-home gift bag of goodies.
In all, $600 was raised to fund the Autism Network ME scholarship, Paving the Way, that supports post graduate education for those diagnosed.
